Mobile work platforms are the ultimate pieces of equipment for any workman. Serving as a step-ladder, a place to keep tools and a workbench, a ladder platform can truly make a day’s work considerably less burdensome for any manual labourer. – RE: The definition is that SEO related or was the copywriter not too sure on the definition of this product? As what is described isn’t the correct definition…
If you’re thinking of making an investment in a work platform, it’s important that you consider all the different variables carefully before deciding which particular product to purchase.
Material is of course one of the most important things to consider when it comes to buying your own work platform. The material should be strong and durable, ensuring you have a safe and stable base upon which to perform your work.
It should also be corrosive resistant, as you need a product that will be able to withstand being in relatively harsh environments without becoming weak and unusable – if your platform fails to stand the test of time then it hasn’t been a worthy investment.
Aluminium possesses all of the above characteristics, making it the perfect material for mobile work platforms. Its durability means that it won’t let you down after a couple of jobs, but will rather continue to serve you for years with the same reliability as the day you purchased it.
It also happens to be very lightweight, so it can be effortlessly carried from job to job – a trait that you and/or your employees will no-doubt be grateful for!
At Star Aluminium, we’ve built a reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality but affordable products. Our aluminium work platforms are designed and built to be strong, durable and long-lasting – and they’re available at very competitive prices.
Ladder platforms of a poorer quality are not necessarily suitably safe for the modern Australian working environment.
But with a built-in handrail and a safety boom arm coming as standard, and with extra safety boom arms available as optional extras, our aluminium ladders are made in such a way as to provide a 100% safe working environment for both you and your employees.
Unlike many other manufacturing companies, we at Star Aluminium refuse to outsource the manufacturing process. Instead, we’re proud to manufacture all our products – including out aluminium work platforms – here in Australia, at our state-of-the-art premises in Braeside, Melbourne.
With innovative machinery and highly trained and qualified staff, our policy of domestic manufacturing enables us to efficiently produce mobile platform ladders of the very highest quality and safety standards.
Whilst the need to pay Australian overhead costs and wages means that our products are not the cheapest on the market, they’re nonetheless still available at very competitive prices – and the difference in quality is plain.
With our aluminium work platforms being designed and manufactured according to Australian Standards, they’re without competition from imported products in terms of strength and durability, practical utility, and safety.
As a family owned and operated enterprise, we at Star Aluminium are able to set ourselves apart from our competitors when it comes to our meticulous attention to detail. Owned by a father and son team with over thirty years of combined industry experience, there’s nothing that slips under the radar when it comes to the quality and safety of our mobile work platforms.
With both father and son having a very practical, hands-on approach to management, quality control is second-to-none.
By maintaining a strong presence on the factory floor, the owners are able to keep a close eye on everything that happens, ensuring that all of our products – including our mobile work platforms – are produced to the same high standard and strictly according to engineering guidelines.
This level of personal involvement from the management, guaranteeing products of the highest quality and safety standards, is simply unattainable in large multinational corporations – particularly those that outsource manufacturing to less accountable foreign sites.
At Star Aluminium, we’re well aware of our great responsibility as a manufacturer to ensure that our products are of the highest possible standards.
The safety standards of aluminium ladders and mobile work platforms affect the wellbeing of many workers – and that’s why we manufacture our own products here in Melbourne, where we can be absolutely sure of their suitability for the workplace.
With a great range of aluminium work platforms available, we believe there’s something to satisfy every requirement in our standard selection of products. However, we understand that every company and every job is different.
